The Heritage on Wheels runs on the meter gauge. The train traverses through the uncharted regions of Bikaner and Shekhawati, famous repositories of the heritage and culture of Rajasthan. Besides Bikaner and Shekhavati region, the Heritage on Wheels train also helps you to explore the cultural heritage of other cities of Rajasthan in a grand and royal style.

Bikaner is a cultural and historical city of Rajasthan. Bikaner is a medieval town, formed during the fifteenth century. It is dotted with scores of sand dunes. Besides the famed forts and palaces, Bikaner is also well known for its camels. The word Shekhawati indicates a region and not a particular town. The towns of Shekhawati region are known for their amazing painted Havelis. Due to the wonderful paintings of the Havelis, this region is dubbed as "open art gallery of Rajasthan".
